Welcome to Study Less Kids, an online English language school that is part of the large international Study Less project.
We are seeking a talented and creative Instructional Designer (методист) to join our team, specializing in designing English language courses for kids and teenagers.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about education, have a solid understanding of child and adolescent development, and possess expertise in instructional design principles tailored to young learners. The role will involve creating engaging, age-appropriate, and interactive learning experiences to foster language proficiency and promote a love for the English language.
✔️ Your responsibilities will be:
• Content Creation: Create engaging and interactive learning materials, including games, quizzes, and other multimedia elements, to enhance the learning experience and cater to different learning styles.
• Multisensory Approach: Incorporate a multisensory approach to instructional design, ensuring that visual, auditory, and kinesthetic elements are integrated to reinforce language learning and retention.
• Inclusion of Real-Life Scenarios: Integrate real-life scenarios and practical language usage relevant to kids and teenagers' daily lives to enhance language application and contextual understanding.
• Cultural Elements: Introduce cultural elements into the course content to promote cultural awareness, understanding, and appreciation.
• Technology Integration: Utilize appropriate educational technologies, learning management systems, and multimedia tools to deliver interactive and online learning experiences.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure the course materials meet high standards of quality, accuracy, and effectiveness through continuous evaluation and improvement.
✔️ Our requirements are:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, English, or a related field.
• Proven experience in instructional design and curriculum development, preferably for kids and teenagers.
• Understanding of child and adolescent development, learning theories, and pedagogical practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Creative thinking and adaptability to develop innovative solutions for young learners.
• Familiarity with online safety and privacy guidelines, especially when designing online courses for young students.
• Passion for education and a commitment to promoting language proficiency and a positive learning experience for kids and teenagers.
• Eagerness to utilize AI and machine learning in creating content (chatGPT, quillbot, etc.)
• Knowledge of educational technologies, learning management systems, and authoring tools will be a plus.
